Game Summary: Fan Appreciation Night
|

It was fan appreciation night at the Grotte Rink. Tickets were given away for free, yet only
1 fan showed. And it's too bad, the GHL put on a real show tonight. There was a reason only 2 games were played tonight: stellar
defense and solid goaltending. It was the duel of the Riveland brothers in net. "I didn't expect much from myself
in net, but it worked out ok," said Nich. "He played twenty times better than I thought he would in net, I still got
4 on him though," said Zach Myron of Nich's netminding. A shootout resulted in Game 2 after a Marcus's goal was disallowed
when his team was called for too many men on the ice. His team ended up victorious after the shootout.
Game Notes:
Nich Riveland plays goalie first time of 07-08 season; loses twice to his brother.
Jamyn makes return from tailbone imjury; helps out with 2 assists.
