"I just heard a snap..."          Wayne Riveland goes down in GHL history as the first player ever to be escorted off the ice because of an injury.  Up to this point, Wayne has had the best attendence among GHL players over the age of 25, but now may be out as long as 3 weeks probably missing around 6 series, or 18 games.  Wayne is only the second player this year to miss games because of an injury.  (Kelly Grotte missed 2 1/2 weeks with a back injury)   Recent News   W. Riveland leaves 4th game of 16th series after pulling hamstring. 2/1/08   T. Spicer breaks his stick over M. Bergstrom's leg. 12/16/07   M. Bergstrom tweaks foot in opening game. 12/6/07   K. Grotte has preseason pains and will return to the DL. 11/30/07   N. Riveland sprains right ankle while playing soccer, will make first game, he says.   K. Grotte possibly has arthritis of the spine, and may need a cortisone shot, hopeful to make first GHL game.   N. Riveland sprains left pointer finger  after being boarded 10/8/07, annoying pain but able to play.
