GHL--- GHL Defenseman Travis Alvine, who led all rookies with 18 points
(thirteen goals, five assists) for eighteen points in 12 games has been named the GHL Rookie of the Month
for December.
Alvine edged GHL linemate Scott Schumacher(11-1--12 in 7 games) who was sent back to
Concordia to the minors.
Although his +/- is -1, he has 17 power points, and 23 MVpoints. The rookie has also received 2nd
star of the night three times for a total of 6 Star points, tying him for first in the league for Star points with Zach
Myron.
