	Game Summary: 50th Game of the Year See Other Game Summaries The first game of the series was a milestone in the GHL07-08 season: it was the 50th GHL game played this year in the 15th series.  Yes, it's been a rigorous schedule thus far, but the players still seem to be sharp, still putting out forth a tremendous effort.  Tonight featured an unlikely goalie matchup of Andrew Grotte vs. Nich Riveland.  The two basically played equally poorly until the 3rd game, when Andrew held on to win his first game in goal of the year, this being his 1st series netminding.      Tempers flared towards the end of the game, which is bound to happen in the physical game of hockey.  No penalties were assessed, however, players felt the brunt of each other tonight.   PLAYER NOTES:       The Myrons in general were a force to be reckoned with tonight.     The youngest Myron, Tytus, had a multiple point game with a goal and an assist and put forth a noticeably greater effort than in any previous game.     The oldest Myron, Tim, had his best game of the 07-08 season, scoring 4 goals to help his team win 2 out of 3.     And then there was Zach of course, the newly 1st ranked player in the league according to rive53.tripod.com/ghl, who stayed hot and separated himself from the bunch by scroing 8 goals, and receiving 1st star of the game once again.   Andrew Grotte was the 9th goalie of the 07-08 season.       Month of December Recap   There are now only 3 players who have played every game this season(52)      ---Nich Riveland---Andrew Grotte----Jason Grotte----CONGRATULATIONS!!
