It' s time to start thinking
hockey. New recruits have been looked at as the GHL looks to expand and bring in some young promising skilled players.
Additions and deletions to the roster are still possible, however, as the GHL regular season is still months away.
Commissioner Kelly Grotte has been thrilled
to have prospects such as Justin Willmott, from Philadelphia and Travis Alvine, from Watertown, SD. "Let's just hope
their as good as the youngsters that have come in the last couple of years and proven their worth."
He was talking about players like '06
rookie of the year Brent Larson, no doubt, and 07' rookie of the year, Matt West. "It's easy to find players
with talent, it's finding players that want to use that talent to it's full potential that is so blasted difficult!" stated
Kelly Grotte in a mid-summer preseason press conference. "And I think my scouts realized that this year, considering the wonderful
job they have done at tediously selecting the best GHL prospects in the country.
The prospects are in their 20s and are looking
to sign 3 year contracts.
