Most
Valuable Goalie Trophy
The Most Valuable Goalie Trophy is an annual award given to the goalkeeper
judged to be the best at this position in a poll by the Grotte Hockey League Player's Association.

The wait is over. |
Zach Riveland has done it; after two years of watching Travis Peach receive the coveted MVG Award and taking the sideline
by receiving the Most Improved Goalie Award, now renamed the Mark Schmitz Trophy, Zach has now stoicly locked up both trophies
in the same year. And why not? After all, he had to improve to become the most valuable goalie, and boy, did he
improve. Zach played in the most games and won the most games among all 13 goalies this season. His outstanding
performances indoors solidified the fact that he was the number one canidate for the trophy. Zach won this trophy by
a landslide of votes receiving 72.73% of the votes.
