Suspension

Nich Riveland has been suspended for one game due to off ice behavior.  The 17 year old GHL veteran has had a mediocre season but had hopes to put up bigger numbers in the second half.  Riveland publicly appologized on the 15th of February, "I'm sorry to my teammates, my coaches, and the fans for the distraction I have brought to the league. I just want to serve my one game suspension and move on."  No, Nich was not involved in a bar scene, nor did he try to let minors out of a cop car.  He talked back to his mom.  Charges were brought against Nich on Wednesday.  What makes matters worse is that this is not Riveland's first offense.  Last year, he was also charged with talking back to his mom and had to serve a one game suspension. "I hope to make the best of the second half when I get back," reported Riveland. GHL commissioner Kelly Grotte has not commented on the Riveland suspension.  The GHL will play tonight.  Riveland plans to attend, but will not dress.
