If you kept up to date with the
GHL website at all, you would know that the website has been stagnant, that is, it hasn't been updated, for about a month
dating back to February 11th. Seven series have been played since the last time it was updated. Many have wondered
why. Here's your answer. This delay in the updating was by design. The fact that there are stats this year
and the end of the season was obviously coming, being it was February, made website designer and statistician Nich Riveland
wonder if the stats would be a distraction to the players or take away from the teamwork and fun of the game. In
other words, he did not want the players to become selfish, and so he didn't want them to know where they stood. Instead,
the stats would happen naturally if the players weren't chasing each other and the end result would be a true indicator
of the player. Plus, it's a nice surpise for all the players to see who ended where at the end of the season.
